| What I do |
| I have been the operator of this unit for over 5 years with thousands of holes under my belt. You can feel confident in my performance for efficient, professional work. I do have a great 'feel' while drilling, helping to minimize hits in subdivision work. This is helpful for production speed and reducing costs.
|
| The Business The Texoma 270-15 pressure drill is mounted to an International chassis. With this combination, a very good production rate for holes can be achieved. The rigs speed and mobility can leave most other forms of drilling operations behind. The 6 cylinder motor & 4 speed transmission on the drill platform allows drilling in all types of earth conditions. Also I am able to slide the deck back 24" and swivel the turn table 180 degrees. This allows easier setup at every hole. The kelly bar drilling unit allows straight and centered holes which are performed consistently. No wobble or auger walk that you would normally get from pendant mounted hydraulic drilling set up. With the high torque output, up to 48 inch diameter holes can be drilled. A maximum depth is approximately 14 feet, given the terrain. |
| News/FYI Keep in mind that a USA (Underground Service Alert) may be needed. A 48 hour window is needed to locate utilities. Plan your job in advance for this requirement. |
